The coins from the southern city of Galle had Sinhalese letters on reverse; the dates on the coins are, as for Colombo, from 1783 to 1794, again the 1793-4 coins being of extreme rarity. All Galle 2 Stuivers with sufficiently clear details, in our opinion, are rare.
