VOC Dump Stuivers; Colombo mint: The values from this mint are the 1 Stuiver (common to all mints) and the quarter (exclusively struck at Colombo). Note there was no 2 Stuiver struck at Colombo.
The 1 Stuiver coins are from 1783 to 1795. Scholten refers to 1783-5, 1788, 1792-5 as R; From our experience, we have found all dates in good condition to be scarce with the dates 1793-4 rare and 1795 of extreme rarity (the British took over Ceylon in 1796).
